"This is from out in the crowd with a cheap camera. If you look real close you might see Morgus & Chopsley & The Morgusaroids. ...Halloween about 87' -- the Morgusaroids, or whatever his droids he created to do mundane work, were there. A pretty good band - rumor was they were The Radiators, a local New Orleans band...As bad as the picture is, I cherish it cuz I took it!

If you look closely just to the left of the guitar-wielding Morgusaroid, you can see ERIC in the background. Dr. Morgus says that for this performance, much of his laboratory was relocated from the Old City Ice House to the stage. After the show, the audience was invited to speak to and be photographed with the Dr. onstage. Where were ya, Aldon?!

Over time, Aldon continued to send an occasional email, later providing this cover from the Time-Picayune TV Focus magazine, which contained an article about the (then) upcoming Rivergate event. In spring of 2005, I was saddened to learn that Aldon Brink had passed away. Although we never met face-to-face, I counted him among my friends and very much appreciated his sharing Morgus memories with me and Friends of Science everywhere. Be at peace, Aldon.
