Franklin Heintz, Jr. sent this one in. His father, Franklin Heintz, Sr., made him a very happy young man for the cost of a postage stamp. I'll let him tell you a little bit about the photograph and himself:
"I live in New Orleans, Louisiana - the original
home of the great doctor himself. I am only 24 so I did not see any of the original black and white shows of Dr. Morgus when they first aired on WWL or WDSU. But I was lucky to experience the Doctor when he was shown on WGNO channel 26, in the early 80's.
Advertised in the local TV listings was a 5 x 7 black and white signed photo of the great Dr. Morgus. All it took was a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and for an eight year old a signed picture of Dr. Morgus was the greatest gift a kid could get."
